IFM IMMOBILIEN AG: New supervisory board chairman elected

Morten Bergesen has been elected as the new chairman of the supervisory board of IFM Immobilien AG. The Chief Executive Officer of Havfonn AS from Oslo, Norway, presently is the deputy chairman of the supervisory board and will take over from current chairman Gordon Rapp, who has held this position since June 2011.

Preliminary figures: First quarter result of IFM Immobilien AG at the same level as previous year

According to preliminary figures, IFM Immobilien AG achieved a consolidated profit after taxes of EUR 1.8 million in the first quarter of 2012 and thus was at the same level as previous year (EUR 1.8 million). The operating profit (EBT) increased to EUR 2.8 million compared to the first quarter of 2011 (prior-year-level: EUR 2.2 million).

Astor Film Lounge takes over cinema in the Zeilgalerie

The Zeilgalerie is getting a new cinema operator. In July 2012 the Astor Film Lounge will open Frankfurt's first premium movie theater. "We are very pleased that we made it possible to get an innovative new concept to Frankfurt, which has only been in metropolis like Berlin and Munich", said Georg Glatzel, CEO of IFM Immobilien AG.

IFM ends fiscal year 2011 with solid results

The IFM Immobilien AG Group successfully completed fiscal year 2011 and achieved a consolidated profit of EUR 5.8 million (previous year: EUR 5.3 million). The operating profit (before tax) in the reporting year was EUR 9.0 million and thus was nearly at the same level as the previous year (EUR 8.9 million).

Three new tenants for the Zeilgalerie

IFM Immobilien AG has concluded three new lease agreements for the Zeilgalerie in Frankfurt am Main. The fashion label Blutsgeschwister which is located in Stuttgart and Berlin will open their eighth shop in Germany in February.
